This page is the model withdrawal form and the withdrawal information promised by Section 29.1 of our Terms of Service. It is provided by RyanTech LLC, a South Carolina limited liability company doing business as Demo Pine ("Demo Pine", "we", "us", "our").
Using the form on this page is optional. Any clear statement that you want to withdraw is enough.
1. Who this page is for
1.1 Consumers only. This right belongs to you only if you are a consumer resident in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom — that is, a natural person entering into the subscription for purposes wholly or mainly outside your trade, business, craft, or profession.
1.2 Most Demo Pine customers are not consumers. Demo Pine is a business tool, and the large majority of our paid subscriptions are bought by companies. If you are a business customer, this page does not apply to you and you have no right of withdrawal. Section 6.11 of the Terms (fees are non-refundable) applies to you in full, along with your ordinary right to cancel at any time under Section 6.12.
You are almost certainly not a consumer for this purpose if any of the following is true:
| Situation | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| You accepted the Terms on behalf of a company, employer, client, or other organization (Terms §1.2 and §3.4) | The Customer is the organization, not you personally |
| You paid with a company card, or gave a company billing address, VAT number, or tax ID | The subscription was bought for business purposes |
| You signed up with a work email address and invited colleagues to the Workspace | The Workspace is being used for your employer's or your own business |
| Your account was provisioned through your employer's SSO or SCIM (Terms §1.4) | Your organization controls the account and the subscription |
| You are a sole trader or freelancer using Demo Pine to make demos for your own clients | The purpose is your trade or profession |
1.3 It applies to paid subscriptions. The right of withdrawal concerns the paid Pro and Team subscriptions you buy through self-serve checkout. The Free plan costs nothing and takes no payment, so there is nothing to withdraw from and nothing to refund — you can simply stop using it or delete your account. Enterprise subscriptions are sold to organizations under a signed order form and are not consumer contracts.
1.4 If you are not sure. Write to [email protected] and tell us your account email address. We would rather answer the question than have you miss the deadline.
2. Your right of withdrawal
2.1 The right. If you are a consumer covered by Section 1, you have the right to withdraw from your subscription within 14 days of entering into it, without giving any reason.
2.2 The deadline. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which the subscription contract was concluded — the day you completed checkout. Sending your withdrawal at any time before that period expires is enough; it does not have to reach us within the 14 days.
2.3 What "clearly" means. To exercise the right, you must inform us of your decision by an unequivocal statement. Email to [email protected] is the fastest route. Post to the address in Section 6 also works. Cancelling from the Billing page on its own is a cancellation, not a withdrawal — see Section 5.
3. Immediate performance, and what it costs you
3.1 You asked us to start immediately. By starting your subscription, you expressly request that we begin providing the Service immediately, during the withdrawal period, rather than waiting for the 14 days to run.
3.2 You lose the right once the Service is fully performed. If the Service has been fully performed — supplied to you in full during the withdrawal period, with your prior express consent and your acknowledgment that you would lose the right — the right of withdrawal is lost.
3.3 A proportionate amount if you withdraw after we have begun. If you withdraw after performance has begun, you must pay us an amount proportionate to what has been supplied up to the moment you told us you were withdrawing, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract. We calculate it on a straight-line daily basis against the total price of your current billing period:
amount you owe = total price for the billing period × (days elapsed ÷ days in the billing period)
We deduct that amount from your refund and refund the rest.
3.4 A worked example. You take a monthly Pro subscription at $29 per seat on a 30-day billing period and withdraw on day 5. You owe roughly $29 × 5/30 ≈ $4.83 per seat, and we refund the remainder.
3.5 If you were on a free trial. During the 14-day Pro trial we have not yet charged you. If nothing has been paid, there is nothing to refund and nothing to deduct — cancelling before the trial converts is the simpler route (Section 5).
4. Effects of withdrawal
4.1 Refund. If you withdraw, we will reimburse all payments received from you — subject to the proportionate deduction in Section 3.3 — without undue delay and in any event within 14 days of the day on which we are informed of your decision.
4.2 Same payment method, no fee. We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. You will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.
4.3 What happens to your Workspace. Withdrawal ends the paid subscription. The Workspace reverts to the Free plan and its limits, as described in Section 6.12 of the Terms: your existing published demos stay published and keep working, but paid features stop and you will not be able to publish additional demos until your published count is back within the Free limit of 3. Export anything you need to keep.
4.4 This does not limit anything else. Nothing here limits your other statutory rights, including your rights in respect of digital content and digital services that do not conform to the contract.
5. Withdrawal is not the same as cancelling
Both routes exist and they do different things. Cancelling is self-service and open to everybody; withdrawing is a statutory consumer right with a refund attached.
| Withdrawal (this page) | Cancellation (Terms §6.12) | |
|---|---|---|
| Who can use it | EEA/UK consumers only | Anyone, including businesses |
| When | Within 14 days of subscribing | At any time |
| How | A clear statement to [email protected], or the form below | The Billing page at app.demopine.com/billing, or the Stripe portal linked there |
| Effect on money paid | Refunded within 14 days, less a proportionate amount for the period already supplied | No refund; you keep the access you paid for |
| Effect on access | The subscription ends and the Workspace reverts to the Free plan | Access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for |
| Effect on renewal | No further renewals | Stops the next renewal |
If you are within your 14 days and you want your money back, withdraw. If you simply do not want to be billed again, cancel.
6. Model withdrawal form
Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract. You do not have to use it — any clear statement will do.

This is the model withdrawal form set out in Annex I(B) of Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, as implemented in the EEA and, in the United Kingdom, in Schedule 3 to the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
Please also tell us the email address on your Demo Pine account. It is the only way we can reliably find your subscription, and it is not a field the model form provides.
7. Confirmation and complaints
7.1 We will confirm. We will acknowledge your withdrawal by email to your account address without undue delay, and tell you the refund amount, any proportionate deduction, and when the refund was issued.
7.2 If something goes wrong. If you believe we have handled a withdrawal incorrectly, write to [email protected]. You may also complain to the consumer-protection authority or the European Consumer Centre in your country of residence, and you keep any right to bring proceedings in your local courts. Nothing in our Terms excludes or limits any right you have under mandatory consumer-protection law (Terms §29.4).
7.3 Our representative in the EU and UK. [[EU_REPRESENTATIVE]]
